Why Slow-Carb?

Let’s take a look and understand what carbohydrates are. Carbs form glucose which are transported in the body through the blood before it’s absorbed by the cells and converted into energy. The more refined the carbohydrate is, the faster it gets into the system which causes sugar levels to rise and fall quickly. ( i.e. the sugar high and crash)

Slow carbs are foods with low glycemic load or low glycemic index. In a nutshell, the lower the G.I. ( glycemic index ), the slower it’s broken down, and the higher the G.I., the faster broken down. The G.I. reveals how higher blood glucose levels can rise within two hours.
so what are carbs with high G.I. and low G.I.?

carbs with high G.I. are refined meaning the digest with and give a rapid surge of blood and insulin in the body. These can found in foods such as white bread, cereal, pastries, etc.

You can take a guess what carbs with low G.I. are: complex carbs. The more complex, the longer the digestion which causes slower and a more sustained release of energy which also allows you to feel fuller longer. You can find them in grains, oats, fruits, veggies, and lentils. This book focus on veggies, which have the most variety of complex carbs, and legumes.

Why Herbalife?

70% of all medically new problems are nutritionally triggered. This
heart attacks, strokes, tumors, and cancer. All of these diseases are
happening because these people have perceived the proper nutrition
their body needs. The first thing doctors recommend to their patients
when it comes to improving health is that they should improve their diet,
and then they recommend more exercise.
The thing is that the normal American meal consists of a burger, fries,
and the Coke. 85% of Americans are at least 1-5 pounds overweight.
in order to gain the process of healthier eating you must have
proteins, minerals, carbs, fats, vitamins, and oils.
Here’s another thing, in order to match all those nutrients we need
to have at least 2500-4000 calories of that per meal. That’s not
you want if you’re trying to lose weight.
One more thing to add to that is even though you may eat and supplement well, none of all that matters if your body is unable to fully absorb it. And the inability to absorb your food comes from stress, drinking, indigestion, etc.

So it’s established that we all need our balanced dose of nutrients. But how do we make sure were observing her from, getting our nutrients, and not going overboard with their calories?that’s the beauty of the Herbalife Lean and Fit Plan. It focuses on something called cellular nutrition where you’re improving your body’s ability to absorb at a cellular level, getting all the nutrients you need for only 200-300 calories. Holy crap, that sounds too good to be true, right?

Here’s three very important reasons why Herbalife is extremely effective.
1. You get 100% of your RDA (recommended Daily Allowance) you get all the nutrients you need per meal.

2. You get your recommended amount of protein. Each meal has at least 25 g of soy protein to promote muscle growth.

3. It stays under your RMR ( Resting Metabolic Rate ), which is key for those who are aiming to lose weight
